Rio Olympics Opening Ceremony Indian Time
Whole of India will have to stay awake all night or wake up very early at 4.30am on Saturday, 6th August, as the opening ceremony of the Rio Olympics will start at this specific time in Indian Standard Time.
Jul 31 - 12:08am
I plan to go to sleep early on Friday Night and wake up at 4.25am so that I get a few minutes to rub my eyes, stretch my arms and legs before switching on the TV set to catch the opening ceremony.
Jul 31 - 12:11am
It won't be easy for me to stay awake till this early in the morning to watch the ceremony but I will try.
Aug 1 - 1:02pm
Even though little difficult to awake early morning 4.30 but I thought it will be good to challenge.
Aug 1 - 5:40pm
It is a normal routine for family members to watch Olympic games so I will surely be watching the opening with many others.
Aug 1 - 6:49pm
I sporadically watched earlier Olympic games on television. This time, with the largest ever Indian contingent participating in the event, the interest will be fever-pitched.
Aug 2 - 10:03am
I will watch repeat telecast of the opening ceremony but will stay in total touch online on the progress that our Indian contingent will make in the games. I have high medal hopes this time around.
